It is with great sadness that i inform you that Cairns Farm Ltd.
better knowen as Mrs Hamilton's will cease trading at the close
of the day on the 14th March 2009.

The last 9 months have been extremely difficult; sales have 
fallen approx 40% and costs have risen by 20-30%.

We can no longer continue to trade with the losses we are
making. 

I am particularly distressed about having to break this news
as I have put my life and soul into the business for the last 9
years, but the economics of the business have taken over 
from the emotion and I have to look to the future for my family.

I am extreamly greatful to each and every one of you who have
been loyal friends, customers, suppliers, addvisors, fellow
traders, staff members, helpers and in particular my family who
have supported me through the exciting and difficult times we
have faced, overcome, conquered, and enjoyed.

I am also extremely proud of our achievements and with out
all of you this would not have been possible.

P.s The hens and the ducks will still be laying eggs, we shall
continue to sell these from an honesty box at the farm and
Pumbaa and Rafikii always welcome someone to speak to.

Even though Cairns Farm Ltd. will be closing there may be a
possability that you might be able to get our Beef and Lamb
from a different company in the near future.
